For Couples Who Choose Values Over Convention

Your wedding looks like you. Maybe it means you not wearing traditional wedding attire and your dog bringing a bit of chaos to the ceremony. Maybe you decided to swap the cake for veggie burgers in the evening, maybe you didn’t invite the uncle everyone expected you to and instead have your chosen family in the front row.

I capture it all - the quiet moments in between, the mayhem of partying with all you loved ones, and the joy in your eyes when you look at each other. And the dog. Always the dog.

This business is built on genuine inclusion, not the performative kind. You know the one, where "gay weddings and same-sex couples too!" is seen as ticked box. As if that covers the entire gorgeous, complicated, wonderful spectrum of the LGBTQIA+ community. Spoiler: it doesn't. Whether you're queer, trans, non-binary, polyamorous, or anything the wedding industry hasn't caught up with yet - you don't need to explain yourself to me, because honestly, I'm still explaining myself to the wedding industry too. I'm proud to be a member of Rebel Love Directory - a community of wedding suppliers who've actually done the work, not just talked about it. If you’re looking for truly LGBTQ+ inclusive suppliers - that’s the place to start.

Hey Fellow Humans

A young woman, Nastia, with blue hair in a long black coat crouching on sandy ground between two dogs, one tan medium dog and one sable GSD, in front of a cliff wall at Botany Bay in Broadstairs, Kent.

I’m Nastia (she/they), an inclusive Kent & London wedding photographer, a dog lover, feminist, based in between Folkestone, Canterbury and Dover in Kent, and I’m here for all the people who can’t and won’t fit in a box.

My documentary photography is fun, relaxed, candid and I’m all about you being comfortable and seen. If you want real memories, connection, representation, inclusivity, accessibility on your wedding day - then I am the photographer for you!

Think we might be a good fit?

I am a proud supporter of Wed4Pal - a collective of over 150 wedding industry members calling for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Palestine. I stand with the people of Palestine against the ongoing genocide, and I believe that values-led businesses have a responsibility to say so out loud, not just in private.

Accessibility gets the same serious treatment. Not as an afterthought, not as a checkbox. I'm disabled myself, so I've already thought about the things you might be nervous to bring up and discuss access needs from the first point of communication. This isn't new territory for me, but I’m always learning, so feel free to share your thoughts. I've been actively working to address the lack of accessibility in the wedding industry for years, including a shoot specifically exploring disability and wedding representation among wed-to-be’s and suppliers that was published by Most Curious Wedding Fair.

“Nastia was amazing!! Brilliant service, absolutely gorgeous photos. We had a small DIY wedding, and Nastia was just phenomenal throughout. Brilliant communication in the lead up to the big day - we had a video call that really put us at ease, including clear planning of shots which actually helped map features of the day as well. Instantly felt very comfortable and confident in Nastia, great vibes during the call, and was fab to chat things through with - made things exciting and real. Captured some beautiful moments we love to look back over. We're so so happy with the photos and will treasure them forever!! Brilliant communication, service, delivery - 100% 10/10 couldn't be happier. Thank you so much!! ❤️”

Weddings are about the things that matter

Based in Dover, I photograph weddings in Kent and all over the UK.

I capture the smaller things from the day alongside the spotlight bits. I photograph the whole story of your wedding day, all the emotion, the candid and the special moments. Those photos and memories you can cherish forever. The story you will be able to share for generations to come.

I specialise in reportage/documentary wedding photography with a splash of contemporary (ie artsy fartsy when the situation permits)!

I am passionate about weddings and the wedding industry being inclusive and accessible to everyone. We still have a long ways to go, but I have hope that together we can make a difference. I’m big on representation and my client’s safety and comfort so please let me know how I can be better.

I am bilingual in English and Ukrainian, as well as conversational level in Dutch.

Enhanced DBS check and first aid certificate available.
